Alive Labs Secures £50k IUK SBRI Grant

In 2021, Alive Labs won an exceptional challenge from Innovate UK, securing £50,000 in grant funding as part of the IUK Clean Air Fund. The goal of the challenge was to explore the potential for integrating mosses into construction air-handling systems for the purpose of removing unwanted pollutants from our cities. The fund provided a 3-month study and trial which ran from Ridge Farm, Sussex, taking the concept from TRL-1 to TRL-4.
